Recent Sessions — Maternity with Courtney

For Courtney, this session became a homage to classical portraiture — maternity re-imagined through the lens of baroque fine art.

I brough the studio to Courtney's living room for this session. Set against a deep black backdrop, this session drew inspiration from Baroque portraiture, where shadow and softness converge. Each frame captures the sacred beauty of motherhood, draped in muslin and surrounded by sweet scent of plums and pears. This serene, radiant, and eternal maternity session is rendered in soft light that tells a story reminiscent of a Renaissance painting.
